In a strategic collaboration aimed at furthering the practical and theoretical understanding of Generative AI, Effixis and the Generative Learning Center (GLC) at HES-SO Valais-Wallis have today announced a formal partnership. The partnership is aimed at leveraging their respective strengths to support companies and public organizations through high-impact workshops, comprehensive services, and cutting-edge research.
Effixis, a frontrunner in Generative AI consulting, has a proven track record of successful implementation of Large Language Models projects, having executed over 20 successful integrations in the domain. The GLC at HES-SO Valais-Wallis, meanwhile, offers a tier-one scientific knowledge of AI technology and a leading position in the scientific community.
This isn’t the first collaboration between the two organizations. They have previously worked together on a major scientific publication titled “Fundamentals of Generative Large Language Models and Perspectives in Cyber-Defense”, in collaboration with Armasuisse S+T and EPFL. The project was led by Andrei Kucharavy, the GLC’s scientific lead and distinguished researcher in the field.
The partnership will now take this successful relationship a step further, offering a suite of awareness and capability workshops designed for teams looking to develop a fundamental understanding of Generative AI, their reliable and responsible usage as well as scientific and technical advisory for projects.
Remi Sabonnadiere, CEO of Effixis, spoke enthusiastically about the partnership: “The HES-SO is the ideal partner for this, combining exceptional scientific capabilities with a pragmatic approach. We are now eager to bring this synergy into delivering exceptional workshops, services, and resources to help businesses and organizations leverage the power of Generative AI.”
Prof. Dr. Dimitri Percia David, Co-Director of the Generative Learning Center with Dr. Andrei Kucharavy at HES-SO Valais-Wallis, echoed the sentiment. “The partnership with Effixis marks a milestone in bridging the gap between academic research and practical application in Generative AI. Our combined expertise will create opportunities for greater understanding and adoption of AI and its applications.”
The collaboration aims to contribute significantly to the Generative AI landscape and ecosystem with a strong focus in Switzerland, and both parties are committed to fostering innovation, building trustworthiness, and creating a profound impact on businesses and organizations.
